From our Fall 2025 Newsletter

One would think that a concert choir preparing for a major performance would be seriously studying the score and perfecting the harmonies. Well, that is true, sometimes. However, when lyrics involve syllables like “dah dat da da dah” or when one of the singers insists upon voicing the Grinch, the climate changes to one of fun and entertainment.

This is what the Golden Concert Choir hopes you will experience when you attend our concert on Saturday, December 6, 4:00 pm at The Calvary Episcopal Church Great Room, 1320 Arapahoe St., Golden, CO. (Enter on 14th Street.)

Our concert, entitled “An Animated Christmas” is comprised of songs from classic Christmas movies. Maybe you’ll sing along to “Rudolph” or hum “A Charlie Brown Christmas” song. We choir members guarantee 99.9% that you will have a good time. That remaining 0.1 percent? Scrooge!

Try to get to the concert a bit early and start your holiday shopping with a selection of baked goods and gift items. All proceeds are donated back to the choir to help us fund outreach programs such as singing at senior living homes. This year, Golden Concert Choir is proud to be supporting the Rotary Club of Golden in their toy drive for their Miracle Store. If you would like to participate, please bring a new or gently used toy to our concert for donation.

We appreciate the ongoing support from our regular attendees, and we welcome newcomers with joy!
