COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Being part of a choir isn’t just about singing—it’s about connecting with people, sharing joy, and making a real difference in your community. Choirs bring together folks from all walks of life, turning strangers into friends and music into memories. Come meet us at some local events:
Buffalo Bill Days
Buffalo Bill Days is rooted in local history, part of which makes Golden such a unique city in Colorado. The original event dates back to the 1940’s as a trail ride up to Buffalo Bill’s gravesite on Lookout Mountain. The celebration has expanded over the years and evolved into a beloved community experience including many exciting activities for the whole family.

Join us at the Golden Farmers Market
We’d love to meet you. Visit our booth to learn more about the choir, our concerts, and how music brings our community together. While you’re enjoying the market, stop by and say hello—we promise friendly faces and great conversation.
This annual summer market is spearheaded by the Golden Chamber of Commerce to help several groups of people: local farmers, small-business owners and their employees, community members who use SNAP and Double-Up Bucks, and community members at large. This is our 24th season hosting this impactful market and we draw customers from all over Colorado and beyond for our fresh produce, artisan foods, hand-crafted drinks, artwork, and clothing item
Golden Rotary Miracle Shop Christmas Toy Drive
The Golden Rotary Miracle Shop is an annual Christmas toy drive in Golden, Colorado, creating a pop-up store where low-income parents can "shop" for new toys for their children at low prices, fostering dignity and joy. Run by the Rotary Club of Golden, it involves community toy drives, with recent events held at Parfet Park and hosted at Calvary Church, serving hundreds of local families annually
Summer Sight Singing Class
The Golden Concert Choir sponsored a six-week, grant funded sight singing class in summer 2025. The class was open to community members beyond the choir, was offered at the Golden Library, and was taught by our director, David Bell. It was a lovely, low-stress way to keep singing in the summer months and learn a little music theory on the side.

Stay tuned for other upcoming opportunities!
